Our Beginnings
Founded in 1971, Tipton Manufacturing, Inc. (as we were called then) was located on South Main in Corsicana, Texas. Our founders originally established the company to fulfill the demand of furniture and bedding for mobile home manufacturers. Now, almost 40 years later, we’re still leading the industry and have become one of the most solid bedding manufacturers in the nation.

A Time of Growth
In 1974, we moved into a 24,000 square foot facility in Corsicana. And as the economy changed, we expanded our services to include production for retail furniture and bedding stores. By the end of 1978, the demand for our mattresses and box springs was booming. So we changed our name to Corsicana Bedding, Inc. to reflect our growth and focus in this amazing industry. We continued to grow through the mid 1980's. In 1987, we expanded our sales area from a 150-mile radius to a multi-state region that included Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
